Tail lights are semi-working
Just a few nights ago i realised that my tail lights are not working properly. When i brake they come on fine but when i have the headlights on they do not turn on except when im braking, like when i have the headlights off.

I tried checking all the bulbs etc, just in case, but im no auto electrician.

The other thing i thought of was is this normal? Im really worried about it, i have no idea how the local constabulary will feel about it.

Insights anybody?

Check your combinationswitch (the knob you turn on the dash) and your taillight relay (the round one in the kickpanel fusebox). If it isn't one of those your wire might be broken.

Does your in dash light work? If not you have a defect fuse...

No, that was the other thing, the light behind the speedo doesnt work either. So you reckon its a fuse then? sounds like i have some investigating to do..

I'm 99% sure you got a blown fuse! Did you check the engine fuse box?

I don't remember which fuse is for taillights and dashlight, but it is the same...

Dont make fun, i hadnt ever looked for it. Is there a way for a fuse to be defect other than being blown? i have now checked every fuse in the kick panel and engine fuse boxes and all are fine.

I guess i will have to get in an auto electrician..
