Tall Drivers?

I am an AE86 newbie, but I am seriously considering starting a project AE86.

I was wondering how the AE86 are for tall drivers. I am 6'7".

I would probably strip the rear seat out if I rebuilt one and just upholster it anyway, but there are definitely cars that I either physically couldn't drive.

Probably, doesn't make a difference but the body style I want is a trueno hatchback

6,1" & have major problems, I have just modified the floor in the project car to mount the seat lower

Look out for one that doesn't have a sunroof. Having a sunroof steals a lot of headroom...

no problem in a standard hachi! Had to modify the attaching points for the bucket seat an slightly hammer the floor pan to fit under the rollcage with a helmet on

I am 6ft 6, mounted my seat really low and moved it backwards, so no it suits me just fine. But, nobody can drive my car

Im 6"3 ish, and couln't drive on track with a helmet on in a proper driving position.

I look a little sad in the last pic, but its just that Im falling a sleep because its so damn confortable.

I did the exact same thing to mine (im 6'1) I have a not normal body, where i have really long legs and a normal torso...Nobody i know can really drive the car except for me

6'7" here, and no probs. Have the original seats in de car. I do have to say that my seat sit lower than Oldskulls chairs for example. Maybe mine are already worn out more
