I want to install these on my 86. I heard some mixed reviews for this sway bar. Some said it help them drift and some said it made it harder, but i think for the most part it should help you with drifting right? can i get some insight from you guys? |

Tanabe Sway Bar Help With Drifting?
Not sure why it would make it harder, I would thought that any upgrade to the suspension to make it more stiffer and more responsive would help
I was under the impression that any kind of improvement in the cars stability would help but maybe Im wrong...kind of defeats the purpose of stichwelding the chassis etc I once read that you shouldnt believe everything you read. |

if you fit only the front it'll make the car more understeer vice versa for the rear if you fit both it'll make the car more planted depending on the rates of the bars this can go eitherway... i.e. cusco bars are usualy harder on the rear to make it more oversteer.
my mate who does hill climbing doesn't have a swybar in the rear at all to keep the wheels always planted on the ground AE86 ex-daily |
