The Truenos Transformation
well long time no post
so here is a history of the cars transformation if some things seem out of order it is because i am posting everything at once rather than when it has ben done some pics from when i bought the car then some in progress pics how the car looked 2 weeks ago here is the Spec List Engine Apexi AFC ISKY Racing Cams Adj Fuel regulator Uprated fuel pump Jasma 4-1 manifold Straight through Ex HKS air filter Grex Oil Cooler Transmission Quick shift Helix Cerametalic Paddle Clutch TRD 2 way Limited Slip Differential Suspenion Front CoilOvers Cusco Topmount Camber Adjustment Rear TRD adjustable shocks 'Achieve Sports' Full Roll Cage Alloy RCA's Adjustable Rear Lateral Rod Front Strut Brace Brakes Uprated Brake Rotors and Pitwork Pads Cusco Brake Enhance Exterior Extreme Dimensions Body Kit TRD Spoiler 14” Celica Supra Alloys Front 14x7 rear 14x7 Interior Standard Seats from a later spec 1986 car Sabelt 3 point harnesses MOMO Wheel and extended hub Fully stripped No Sterio Oil Pressure and Oil Temperature Guage’s how the car looks just now Dash removed so i could sort it, full of cracks and chunks missing, so going to give it a fibreglass skin and felt it with black felt i also wanted the clocks out so i could find out why i have no dash lights to so this i had to remove all of the lower dash panels and part of my rollcage took out front seats for ease of access front bumper is off to finishe getting it meshed also took it off so i could relocate the oilcooler this was so i could see where i am going to fit my twin electric fans, junked the belt driven viscous fan in favour of these to regain lost power #alloys are also being repainted probably in a dark grey colour like these future plans well all of this is underway new TRD 2 way LSD with a 4.1 crown wheel and pinion Polyutherane full bushing kit Front and Rear Control Arm bushings, Front Strut Rod bushings, Rear Track Arm bushings, Front and Rear Sway Bar bushings, Front and Rear End Links should be fun paint the alloys strip interior and sort dash fit new harnesses fitting twin electric fans in place of belt driven viscous along with hopefully paz's old front end attached to my car Well another box from the states arrived today My prothane bushing kit and fuck me I did not realisethere wer e so many bushes on my car rear sway bar FRT strut rod kit rr track arm kit front c-arm kit rear control arm kit rear end link sway bar bush end link set sway bar bushx2 the rear control arm set has 16 bushes in it alone this could be a challenge doing on the drive now all i have to do is figure out where everything goes will i have to re use some of the emtal inserts tha are already on the car? couple of other parts ordered water temp and volt gauge. to go woth my oil temp and pressure ones when the diff broke i decided to take the car off the road for a few months and do other work to the car while it was knackered i am stuck driving a peugeot 406 TD just now lol its so slow and boring but gets me from AtoB OK new parts ordered Blitz Front Brake pads TRD Engine Mounts Cusco GearBox mounts Paz's old front end Started to fit the protane bushing kit today, going well, apart from my dad setting himself on fire he forgot the low toarch was on and stood over ot then proceded to go on fire . Ha, for your fathers accident
He is allright, isnt he? Well, we new this is a great car, we hope you make it even better. I dont like the Supras painted black in your car. Body color is allready too dark, so I d say keep the Supra's Silver danielvanderwoude Wrote:looks like the nmwisima joke saved you in the endhttp://www.jdmbits.com |

my dad has started to panel the rear of the car off, instead of putting any trim back in just going to panel it in with wood, and felt it. fitted a second fusebox, so i can can tidy the wiring up some in the engine bay 2 new guages, Water Temp, and a volt gauge the leak from the rear lights has been sorted some more new parts arrived TRD engine mounts and the Cusco Gearbox mount Blitz brake pads car is now fully pollybushed my plans for the engine have changed slightly, I now plan to build a 10k RPM race engine, but that is way in the future the procam camshafts, with al lthe upgrades from the drop down menus the reytec d1 ecu and coilpack kit the forged crankshaft 4ag forged pistons metal exhausr gasket strenghtened flywheel bolts metal headgasket most of the stuff is in this link here http://www.tougeten.com/86/index.php?osC...1cddcc80ac at the minute I still dont have my Diff back, and th dash is still in the greenhouse, although it has all been sorted DRIFTING is pushin a car against its intended design, then playing with the LAWS OF PHYSICS |

whats the point in buying all that stuff just for the sake of it?
A late stock crank will take 10k, your list doesnt include rods, those pistons are not very impressive (like all jap pistons). That ECU kit is STUPIDLY expensive and not that comprehensive and there will be no support for tuning it over here in europe. All the parts you list i'd be impressed if you hit 170bhp. |
