just spend your money wisely otherwise you'll end up with an expensive 170bhp motor.
Jap cams are out of date and poor in design, so are their pistons and throttle bodies.......infact i cant think of anything jap that i would buy apart from the tyres. |

Big Tin, i think benr is right! Take this for example!
4age overbore to size 0.5 (81.5) wiseco high comp pistons 0.8mm steel head gasket shaved head 282 intake and exhaust cams at 8.3 mm lift megasquirt ecu full done exhaust complete airbox intake that will give around 170 hp in the engine. GOing further the tvis must go and be replaced for throttle bodies! Cars: "99 Lexus IS200 "86 AE86 Kouki Panda Levin GT-Apex (restore project) "84 AE86 Zenki Blue Levin (project racer) Motorcycles: "02 Yamaha R1 "02 Honda Hornet S "08 BMW R1200GS |

yeah
will have my diff back next week so can get the car all built up and ready to rock again need to go take it for an MoT as well, that ran out on ther 31st Jan 114 mile round trip for that to the only guy I trust to MoT the car for me, I trust very few with the keys to the car after what happened to the white one. as for paneling the back off, I did get it done very very very thin MDF and accoustic felt need to put the dash back in seats, clocks wire guages up refit drive shaft diff and pumpkin halfshafts tyres on wheels and MoT tax and insure the car DRIFTING is pushin a car against its intended design, then playing with the LAWS OF PHYSICS |

I like the overall look of the car. I would just clean it up a bit. No exposed wires and paint the engine bay, but that also depends on what your final goal with the car is.
