Here is a pic of the motor all tucked away into the garage, or um tent! Also the car gave up the ghost I guess today? Won't turn over and the gas cap has gone missing? Really weird.

I wasn't planning on attacking the paint until everything else was done, but someone owes me money and wants to pay by way of painting the car. I suppose this isn't terrible bad though because I would like to paint the bay before throwing the new motor in.
Anyways help me decide what you think looks best. Here are a few Forza mock ups, but I am open to opinions. Keep in mind I did order Carbon fiber Flares, and a carbon BRE wing so those will remain unpainted. 1: Black and Gunmetal 2 tone 2. Black and Gunmetal with colored stripe Got the stripe idea today when I saw this: 3. Laguna Seca Blue 4. Orange and Black 2 Tone |

Sweet car you've got there mate! As for the looks of it, this stripe, ehmmmm... I don't really like the look of it on the Z. I'd go for an oldschool JDM look, pretty much like the Wangan Midnight devil Z, but that's just me!

^thanks for the feedback on paint. I will have to figure it out. I think just two tone black and a color is pretty oldschool looking though.
here are a few inspirational pics: I decided that for the size of project this is becoming I needed to get something to haul the car/ parts around. SO... I got this for the sole purpose of using it for the z project: 1993 Ford E350 V8 Tow Rated between 7 and 10000 lbs (This is the range I have found reported online) Also the interior already doesn't exist so I don't have to strip it. Biggest downfall: This thing is huge! here is a quick mock up of the direction this van is going: |
