Tokico HTS spacer?
yes they come with the tokico HTS. Only thing is that the spacer is made for the original strut length, so if you shorten your struts you have to shorten your spacers

DJex, that depends on what you do.
The HTS cartridge is 6cm shorter then standard AE86 shock cartridge, the spacer that comes with HTS is 4cm, so if you shorten the strut by 2cm it will fit just fine. Offcourse most people using coilover sleeves shorten the strut by 3cm or 4cm in which case the standard spacer is to big and needs to me made smaller. I've shortened mine by 4cm and had a 2cm spacer made. Greetz, Bastiaan "mux213" Olij Moved down under, no more hachi |

Tokico HTS spacer?
I believe that i once saw a picture here from someones HTS set, there where also some spacers in that picture.
Well this is what i got included with my set. (front&rear) Upper left two are for the front. The rest is for the rear. No spacers included as you can see. Here is only the rear stuff sorted: As you can see, i'm missing some parts. I'm missing one of those silver disk things. One gold nut that goes on top. And the 2 rubbers that go on top are also different. Only got one of these sets: Is there more stuff that I'm missing? |

Tokico HTS spacer?
Hey Bubble,
On your first picture, topleft are the things for the front struts, the big nut that holds the cartridge in place and the nut that goes way on top to hold the strut to your topmount and a tiny nut that you place to protect the adjustment thingy on top (but I've already lost those cause they didn't fit right). No spacers though, so you are missing spacers for the front setup, but they are made easy enough (if you can't wait, go to Gamma and buy loads of big washers and just stack and tape them together). For the rear, your second picture shows all the parts you have, I think you have more then you need so would worry. On one side you need a metal dish, then a rubber spacer, then comes your cars body, then another rubber spacer, then another metal dish, then two bolts. You add two bolts to make sure that vibrations don't make it all go loose. First screw on one and tighten, then screw on the other to lock the first. Per side you need 2 metal dishes, 2 rubber spacers and 2 bolts. The rubber spacer you need is the one with the smaller hole. That leaves you with the rubbers with the big holes and 1 bolt left over. The rubbers with the bigger holes look like the bushings that you need to insert in the bottom of the strut that attach to your axle. You can use the existing bolt and washer that currently hold your current strut just fine. So all in all, I think you can install everything just fine. Tokico HTS spacer?
Installing them wouldn't be a problem.
I was just wondering why it got all mismatched. Like SYM says that the spacers are not included, DJextor did get them and so.. If you look closely you can see that the rubber spacers that go on the rear of the car, top of the shock with the car body in between, those are different too. Anyways, should be putting them on next week if I got time (exams ). |
