how can i improve a pull away of my car .when its reaches 3rd gear its fine but 1st pull hard

How many has this engine done since new, or since the last rebuild ??

I replaced my water pump it was messed .so decided to do the spark plugs aswells also did setting timing seems to be a improvement.
