Type of radiator!
I have Honda CRX or Civic rad. Little wider and lower, but works great.

Type of radiator!
Quote:By the way eight-six, not all of us live in chilly England! Haha, swap you?! We do have a few hot days every few years! My last track day was around 27 degree’s (that’s hot for the UK!) and I hammered, and I mean hammered the utter crap out of the car for around 25 laps. No problems heat wise. I suppose the point I was making is that rather than going to the trouble of trying to fit some scrap yard find radiator into the AE86, getting it re-cored with a dual core would probably be more effective in the long run – cooling upgrade but also OEM fitment. With a new core it’s going to be more efficient than a scrap yard radiator; but I appreciate though that people are operating on a budget and may not want to spend the money. eight-six Wrote:Quote:By the way eight-six, not all of us live in chilly England! I completely agree with you. By the way, we had one day last summer in Melbourne where it got to 46.3 degrees celsius. I think the day after it was 22 degrees. Low 40's are not uncommon. Mind you we are in the middle of winter here now and the expected low is 15 degrees today. Rarely gets below a 3 - 5 degree minimum first thing in the morning before quickly warming through the day. |

I just went with a ebay rad. Perfect fit, no problem with piping. A little wider than the original rad. But still, perfect fit. And im running two electical fans up against megasquirt that i can control however i want.
