Only surface rust??? Have you seen the state of that left rear chassis beam... It's crunchier than a bag of Lays crisps by the looks of it. Sadly that is more or less a given on zenki coupe 86's from these parts.

Also i would recommend taking off your rearbumper. The area behind that is prone too rusting.

Just wirebrush the chassis, por15 it and undersealer.

My comment about it being crunchy was only about that chassis beam, the rest if the car looks pretty solid for it's age.
