Glad to hear you've realized your dream after many years, I also got my 86 after a long search (7 years or so).
The car looks great already, it'll be an astonishing example once you've finished restoring her! Are you planning on keeping the interior stripped for track duty or will you restore it to nearly stock condition (even with the rollcage)? Nice pic with the GT86's, btw |

Thanks for the comment!
The interior is going to be stripped for track duty, but with a nice finish.. Custom door cards, custom rear firewall, trunk side panels, rear interior side panels, etc... Trying to get close to a factory finish. But all in time, when all the rust is gone, i'm throwing in the stock door cards, seats and seat belts for mot. Today the left rear quarter panel got welded op, looking good!! |

Quick update:
Almost all welding is finished and looking good. Engine en transmission are out, interior is stripped. Saturday I am going to get another chassis, to replace the sliding roof in mine with a closed roof. Roofs are getting switched in the good way, removing spotwelds etc.. No pillars are getting cut. I ordered a complete handling package from T3, along with camberplates and top hats. I want to get the bodywork finished as soon as possible so the build up can start. I was thinking about spraying the car like the TRD rally car. Any thoughts on that? Thanks!! |

I did a lot of searching a while back because i was curious were this car has driven rally and why the info was almost impossible to find.
As far as i can remember this car has never driven in rally. Its somewhere in tokyo in an auto museum or some kind I really like the rallycar look. |
