Non-standard brake master cilinder
it looks like the brake servo is non std. anyone recognise what the mod is? I know it has a cusco brake assist im looking at the servo and reservoir arm

I dont recognise it either...but it looks exactly the same as the one on Ian's car...I was wondering about that earlier. Usually the name of the manufacturer is written on it somewhere so you could check to see if it's an original toyota part.

that looks exactly like mine. I have nearly no engine in the bay so I'll be able get a better photo for you.

Is the rest of your brake system standard ? - I wonder if its slightly higher capacity and force to provide more fluid pressure to the 4pots ?

yep looks the same, whats the cylinder to the left of the servo as mines not there. only uprateds rotors and pads on mine Sad

It doesnt look that much different from stock ae86 master cilinders..but that piece where the bolt of the cilinder stopper holds the cilinder in place looks like it's made especially for it to work in combination with the stopper.
Also the base looks a bit odd and has one hole more than the stock master cilinder.
My guess is that it's either an aftermarket part or it comes from a car that has a master cil. stopper from factory.
