Yupz, I think the coming year will be an interesting one, not just for AEU but also for our friends around Europa as we're all getting better known and buyers and products are able to find eachother more easily. .

What brand of street shocks do you have?
Yes, this is a small increasement over stock, i know. In company of some tokico blue shocks and prothane bushings i can experience the car like its meant to be experienced from the factory; or pretty close to that, as i never got the chance to, since my current shocks are BUST and the bushings after all theese years are, well you know. This was my first plan all along, but then i started thinking, what if Konis, what if etc... There is big financial gap in suspension tuning for the hachiroku. You can get away pretty cheap whit only new bushings, new springs with minimal drop and some "normal stroke" shocks. If you want to go more its a whole new world of expenses. you need cutting welding dropping, rcs, adjustable panhardrod, you need strutbars and other reenforcements, you need modified links, camberplates... all this is loads of money that i dont have at the moment. So my guess is, since im still no where close to experiencig hachi to the fullest, a strong take on the cheap side of the suspension tuning border will be just fine.
Still wanna know where i can get tokicos. Could be US, just to be cheap in shipping.. |

I'll be ordering the TRD shock / spring kit this week. I'll also post my impressions once it's installed.
Umm, one quick thing: I was under the impression that even if I only drop the car 2 cm, an adjustable panhard rod should be a good investment, right? |
