What wire brings power from the battery to the radio?

Hi,

One more technical question, an electrical issue this time.

I'm trying to fit a radio to my AE86, i found that the Blue wire is ACC signal, the Green one is Taillight signal but i can't found the wire that brings power from the battery.

I have also a black and red wire but it seems it doesn't have 12v.
The remaining wires are from the speakers (4 wires) and ground wire.

I checked the radio fuse in engine compartment and it's receiving 12v.

Is the black and red wire the power source wire or is some wire missing from my car dash?

The manual seems to indicate L-B (light-blue?..hard to tell) and W-R (white / red ) as power lines, coming from two separate radio fuses. The earth wire should be W-B, which is white-black, grounds are usually white/black or white on the ae86.

EDIT:

W-R goes to RADIO NO.1 -fuse (10A) and continues there straight to battery (R-B)
L-B goes to RADIO NO.2 -fuse (7,5A) and continues to ACC (L-R)

You're right about the manual but not about the wire colors present in my AE86, even if my harness is 100% sure original.

During build-up i've found that many wire colours present in EWD don't correspond to the true.

The W-B is for sure ground.
There's a blue with red dots that is for sure ACC
There's a green with red dots also (i think...) that is for sure Taillight

I will check the wires that i think are from the speakers, maybe i'm wrong and one of them is from power source...

So, after all i was wrong...
One of the wires that i thought was for the speakers, is the power source wire.

In resume for who needs:
Wire white with a black stripe - Ground
Wire white with a red stripe - Power Source
Blue with red dots - ACC signal
Green with red dots - Taillights signal

There are more 4 wires besides these ones, those are for the speakers.

What happen if i run 12V through the Taillight Signal wire ?

I think accidently touched the Green with red dots wire with the ACC (through the multimeter and it shows 12V) after that I couldn't start my car, are there any chance I flied the Fuel Pump Relay ? and When key at "Key On" position (engine not running ) the check engine light suppose to come on but it just won't come on at all now, any idea ? Thanks

The Green with red dots wire initially was cutted by the previous owner along with the radio plug. I was trying to figure out wires with a multimeter. ( The car works fine before I touched those wires ... )

check the fuse box located at the left side by the clutch pedal in the car too... :wink:

this might sound totally ridiculas but what does tailight power have to do with the radio,just wondering as i have has trouble with my tailights and have no stereo in my car, the cables are just loose
