Wheels and fitment
What size of wheels can be fitted to the ae86 without any problems?
I am modifying std. steel wheels 14" but i need to know what is the best ET and J sizes.
ET30, 9J rear?
ET30, 7.5J front?

or something like that?
I dont want to scrape my new tires in the wheelarches, but i want as much as i can have! Maybe with some nice fender flares Smile

i've had 7.5x14 et-12 on the front and rear without rubbing with 185/60 tyres, it's lowered about 4cm too.

Eric, this is no nissan with stupid ETs Wink

AE86's take proper ETs with ease Tongue
The stock wheels are ET20 and that is the highest ET you should go

That an AE86 strut with 5,5J wheels with an ET of 20.
That gives you about 9cm of backspace, and that's about the limit.

7,5J with ET30 gives you about 13cm backspace, so they won't fit Wink
