i've seen this strutbrace in AE86 Club vol.2 and Vol.8
in Vol.2 an AE86 from RS Yasu had this brace mounted
in Vol.8 they talk about this brace, the only thing i could understand was "shakito"

i knew this plate
maybe it's a modified shakito shock tower plate

i don't think they are the same guys ... look at the back ... different way of bolting on the car

i took the screen shot from ae86 club also

i've found places that sell just the plate, but not the one with the bar thats on ae86 clubs.

whats the pro for using this kind of strut brace against the regular one. isnt it best for the bar to be mounted directly between strut towers?

it's a bit OT but if you want less flex, than this is the way to go

i was always wondering, why woul someone need to stiffen the parts of the car that are outside the front/rear struts. Its not like they are carrying any forces??!
