legend: i dont think thats the case here. It happened oh so many times b4.. hachiroku i a kickass car to learn drifting in. But lets face it. There are things a hachi just cant do.. many people swich to more powerful cars, w/ longer wheelbase, updated suspension and chassis setup. In Japan D1 i had a feeling judges (Keichi, orido?) take the type of the car into the equation. at least a bit. But if you judge drifting, style, speed, angle, etc its a lot easier to do a nice drif in a 500 hp s15 than in a 160 hp hachi. thus the winner will be, on most occasions, the s15.

off course but I mean that if kris gets a 500 hp car then all the guys will say that he can only do the drifts cause he got 500 hp andif they had a 500 hp carthey would be even better so its the same shit again but even worst cause if he wins with a AE thas respect if he wins wit a 500 hp car theyll all just say he cant drift for shit and its only the car that makes him good.

I mean theres always people who say stuff like that and I agree on everything you say Apolan its easier to drift with a better car ofcourse its pretty obvious but thats a part of the charm to win with a AE is pretty much respect .

True story I would have far more respect for your kris if you keep your car and take her outside of the country and make yourself more well known elsewhere. If you keep at what you have who knows where it may take you. If you give that up and get into some other joe bloggs-mobile with a lot of bhp to get it going then anyone else would consider you average-joe-drifter and you would be left wondering where else the hachi could have taken you. Change isn't always for the better.

legend of course i agree, but i think those people just dont give a f*ck. If people dont respect what he's accomplished w/ the 86 up to this point (and we all know he's done great) than i dont think they'll change their minds no matter what.

i personally dont mind him swiching to a different car if he wants to. i just hate it if he's doing it for the wrong reason. (which obviously he is ). i think we all agree on that.

Buy that 600hp car and keep the AE. If they are gonna say you can't drive because you have an overpowered car then show your hachi and drift that car like you always do! They WILL have to respect that when you tell them it's just a car with 130hp. And if they still say you can't drive after showing both cars: FUCK THEM ALL!!
