XTR competition chassies
if anyone can answer any of my questions please do! it would really help me!
the h100 and pajero axles are the same? are they completely the same and use identical parts or just similar? should i have to get the axle and halfshafts from the h100 and the diff itself from a galloper? are they completely interchargable? why didnt just use the h100 diff? doesnt it have lsd diff? or why not use the galloper axle housing and halfshafts? why not to choose the pajero axle and its own diff? (according to a friend the petrol engined first gen pajero has the 4.7xx final drive) what is the final drive of the h100? what is the difference between the h100 and galloper axles and shafts? if they differ, which parts do i need to get from the h100 and which from the galloper? is it possble to machine down the halfshaft ends(the hub part with the studs) and redrill to 4x114,3 pcd? |

hi,all i know is,the hyundai h100/mitshubishi L300 axle is aproxx 2cm wider than the original axle, and i have the lsd from a hyundai galopper/mitsu pajero, and that one fits the hyundai h100 axle, that lsd is like a bigger trd diff, the same built, but bigger in size,i dont know if its possible to change the pajero half shafts into the hyundai h100 axle, and the hyundai h100 final drive is 4.222,i dont know the final drive from my galopper,i must count and calculate it for you

i did the h100 axle swap.. i can't remember well the weight.. but i think it was around 73 - 75kg , and i have stock engine + gearbox . I just did the swap.. 4.222 ratio from h100 welded is still nice... car feel more balanced now

75kg? That would be weird. AE86's axle is 100kg

my car build is back on its track again. the same strenghtenings go in as we put in walaki's car with minor differences because this sehll will have welded in cage.
we removed the rear floor panel to make a new one for the fuel cell, battery and fuel pump. i also got my -yet again- new engine. its an st215 3S-GTE, hopefully we can squeeze out 300hp later |
