Rear axle swap kit for Mitsubishi Pajero gen.1 (1982-91) rear axle AND installation service
(Levin/Trueno, hatchback/coupe, early/late model 1983-87) Material: ST52 steel For racing/drifting use! We developed these to be able to replace the stock ae86 rear axle / halfshafts / LSD with something stronger that can be used with a high power output engine. (200hp+) These are redesigned brackets that holds the ae86 suspension linkage. You can MIG or TIG weld it up to a cleaned Mitsubishi Pajero gen.1 rear axle housing (and probably many other rear axle housings as well). The lower link brackets has multiple mounting points to bolt in the link, stock and 2 lower points. No need to install aftermarket traction bracket. Included in the swap kit are: 2x upper link bracket, 2x lower link bracket, 2x anti roll bar bracket, 2x damper mounts, 1x panhard mount. Spring seats not included, as many people use rear coilover suspension. Springseats are available separately or in combination package with the swap kit. more info here: http://xtr-auto.eu/index.php/products-an...6-products |

another project is going on.
im planning to release lightweight hollow aluminum tube based rosejointed 5 link kit for the ae86 and e7series. in top quality and durablity. they will be available non-equal and equal lenghts. the link bodies were already constructed and tested the only question is the rod-ends. i was working on the topic for months now, had a lot of dead ends because of them, making the set with unaffordable price tags if i was using the real motorsport rod-ends, not cheap ass rodends some distributor refers to as motorsport quality or good for automotive use rod ends. im talking about those that can withstand high dynamic loads, self lubricating, not prone to rust and most importantly preloaded rod ends which will last for years at least, might be better than the ones in T3 or BV stuff. the rod-ends must be metric threaded and bored to prevent the case when one balljoint fails due to impact or anything and the user is unable to replace it quickly with any kind of rod end you can find in the nearest bearing shop thus not able to continue the racing event. i came up with 2 alternatives. the first which i dont prefer. ive found a supplier who sells really affordable priced nylon and ptfe injected high load capacity rod ends with zero tolerance. but still not preloaded, causing them to have more limited lifetime compared to a preloaded one. i could release the links with these as they will do their job and will still be the best alternative for people here in europe. the other option is fluro, who makes true motorsport rod-ends and they are closer to a friendly price than aurora or rodobal. still their prices are so high would make the linkage price too high. ive been talking to fluro about the issue and we might be able to sort out things about this by buying alot of rod-ends at once. my question is: who else is interested in some true lightweight and quality rear end linkage? if i can gather reasonable amount of interest, i can return with a quote for europe's probably best 5 link set for somewhere around the average market price. |
