XTR competition chassies
EDIT 2011.10.13
This is the topic of XTR competition chassies. (formerly x-turbo) We are specializing on building, modifying or rebuilding vehicles for racing use or tune them for the streets. Young or old, doesn't matter we give them the balls! The drifting scene and it's early core car, the Toyota AE86 Corolla is very important for us so we constantly trying to dig deeper in the topic as well as gaining knowledge in other old-school 70's, 80's, 90's japanese cars, especially when it comes to drifting use. Right now we have a full range of fibre reinforced plastic body panels for the 86 from the top to the bottom and a complete scheme for repairing, modifying, reinforcing and lightening the body, that is in its on way, unmatched anywhere else. Our goal is to stand out from the crowd by giving our clients what they really need for their application from an experienced professionals viewpoint and execute in top quality while staying affordable. You can watch as we progress here or on our website at http://xtr-auto.eu |

XTR competition chassies
greetings to everyone!
after being here and reading this forum for about 1,5 years i decided to post my project which i started more than 2 years ago. my car is a 1985 kouki hatchback levin and actually a very odd one because it had all the kouki interior and exterior parts, lights bumpers etc. but it has zenki rear axle and afm bigport engine. well this is how it looks like right now: the first thing i had thought is that because this model is so rare here and my car is in fairly good condition (never crashed before), it would be a pain in the ass to repair every time when i hit it on the track drifting. what would be the cost effective solution? fiberglass! actually this is good news for you because i plan to sell copies of most of the parts of the car body external out of fiberglass! so far we have finished the hood the hatch, kouki lip and the complete rear panel which holds the rear taillights, license plate etc. the hood and the hatch is comlete copy of the original inner and outer shell. they can be used with the factory mountings and locks. the hatch can even handle the original window viper. many people bought these from us we are working on a full bodykit which includes: front fenders with factory look-alike flares but 2 cm wider, complete rear quarter panels (some call it overfender) also with 3cm wider flares, front and rear bumpers (will be similar to run-free bumpers) and sideskirts. since im a signmaker i can make copies of the original factory stickers and any knid of sticker on order. here comes some photo of fiberglass and stuff for you afterwards i will write some more of my own car! fibreglass hoods hatches rears and lips: some sign making stuff: if youre interested in fiberglass parts and/or stickers, pm or e-mail me! [email protected] this is how it was when i bought it: *edited: more pics* yes it wasnt in a mint condition this car didnt get any care from the previous owners. :S not bad but it had many rusty parts and also engine burnt the oil. after disassembling the engine we fixed that with new headgasket and some work on the head. rust! lets get to work! hacked nissan 200sx lca! new rims! rcas from zdoman! megan racing coilover set! damn! |

All cars imported to Greece by Toyota were koukis and NONE of them has kouki axle on it... It appears Toyota had some... spares and thought it was a good idea to get rid of them! danielvanderwoude Wrote:looks like the nmwisima joke saved you in the endhttp://www.jdmbits.com |
