i had so many cars over 50!! in 10 years.. i try to remember my first car Bmw 316. 1983 (crashed to a tree) Opel Corsa (crashed to a opel record) Opel Kadett.. Nissan Micra 1989 Honda crx 1991 vw golf 1.3 vw golf cabriolet ford escort xr3i cabrio vw transporter camping bus mitsubishi colt 1987 mitsubishi lancer stationcar 1991 mitsubishi Colt gti 1.6 (1990) mitsubishi colt gti 1.8 (1991) And my fastest car ever Mitsubishi Colt 1.8gti with 350hp turbo engine!! mitsubishi lancer station mitsubishi space-runner (still have it) Toyota Ae86 (ofcourse i still have it) Toyota Starlet 1994 Mitsubishi Space wagon 2.4 1999 ex Ae86 owner |

Got my drivers license in january 2003.
from then on i owned several cars: '89 Citroen AX -> killed the car 2 months later during a LOT of understeer in a place where i realy couldn't have that '92 Nissan 100nx -> gearbox broke down, sold it. '92 Peugeot 205 1.8 td -> got 2 accidents in that car, both not my fault, added +- 1750 euro to my account. Engine broke down during normal (spirited) driving. '88 Mazda rx7 -> my baby! those where the days. -> sold it cause of leaking (internal) seals. Very low compression. But when the engine was running it was a hell lot of fun! '85 Mazda rx7 -> spare parts, sold after the '88 one. '92 Volvo 440 -> Nice family car, though a little bit too much understeer, traded for an '85 toyota mr2 aw11 realy nice car. Though a bit trigger happy. Grip machine. Killed the engine due lack of oil. Nothing ever warned me about the oil level being low. Was kinda pissed of about that, sold it with a broken engine for the price i bought it. '90 Renault express diesel -> what a funny car was that, i nearly always floored the gas while driving in the city. Had about the speed of a badly serviced go-kart. Sold it cause of engine problems. '88 Bmw 325i, (170bhp) realy nice car, but sadly no LSD. Got a tip that a '85 Toyota Ae86 was for sale. Called the guy the very next minute, went to see him that evening, and convinced him to sell the car to me. Didn't have any money at all then. Sold my beemer for cash, and bought it. He attacked everything in life with a mix of extrordinary genius and naive incompetence, and it was often difficult to tell which was which. |

Damn...10 cars in just over a year.....
I'm real loyal when it comes to car. When I buy one I tend to cherish it. So the list becomes quite boring. After pottering about in my mothers daihatsu for a couple of months, I quickly decided i needed my own set of wheels. Searched all over the place for a crx, but ended up buying a '89 civic. I loved that car and still think it is great for what it is. Very well sorted suspension also.. After about a year I blew the original engine (pure abuse), replaced it with a engine from a CRX, blew that engine in about 2 years (abuse). Bought a '88 crx as a spares car. That was one great little runabout. The engine was insane, all 130 horses seemed to be alive and kicking. I could keep up with the original owners vtec till about 100km/h. Slaughtered the crx in favor of the civic. This time around I planned on keeping the engine alive. Drove it around for another 3 years, beating the crap out of it on the ring etc. Finally decided I had to sell it before it rusted trough completely. Noticed a cheap ae86 for sale. Called the owner and bought it. Realised i really didn't have the money, so I quickly called my brother and convinced him he wanted this car. Technically I own this car, but thats just on paper. Finally sold of the civic. Went out looking for a replacement. Didn't care much what it would be, as long as it was fast and fun. Went to look at a couple of C kadetts, 200sx's, AE86's but finally settled on my current car. A 1992 mazda mx5, 28.000 miles full service history. Those Civics are cool little cars

Oke, here is my car history.
My first car. Alfa Giulietta '83, 2.0litre, 25% LSD. 40mm Weber carbs. Fiat Panda 45. Two Tone colors, 17" BLING Trabant... Porsche 924, a little bit restored and then i sold it cause its got an crappy engine in it.... Nissan Sunny 1.6 B12 Coupé, nice car, but rust like hell! BMW 315i e21! With an E30 318i engine in it. Pretty fast car and it like to drift on wet surfaces... Citroën BX, hmmm uhm... not so nice car... bah... Golf type 1 GTI 83, little bit restored and when i was on a trip to France, my dad sold it without an excuus... Pontiac Fiero 2.2GT, yellow, big higwing on it. Drove like shit.. Suzuki Swift 1.0, pretty nice to drive, it was cheap and it steered like a kart. 2x Lancia Y10, cars for Ovalracing. With my brother i had an pretty nice Daf 66 Marathon Coupé. That thing is selled to an museum. Subaru XT 1.8 Turbo AWD, verry nice car with a strange look. Pretty luxury but an awfull handling... 2x Subaru Justy 1.0s for ovalracing. Golf type 2 1.3 van '92, everytime i drove in it, it was broken... shitty car. Alfa 33 1.5TI, later i replaced the engine with an 1.7 i.e. where i put some 40mm Weber carbs on it. It drived like hell, great performance, but it rusted so i selled it. Alfa 75 2.0TS van '92, pretty nice car with a great performance. 150HP and 25% LSD on the backwheels. It was pretty nice to drive it. Golf GTI 16V type2 van '87. Golf 1.6 type 2 van '86 Alfa 33 1.7 16V QV van '93, verry nice car with a great performance. It drove just as easy 220km/h and it was a nice GTI-beater. Lancia Delta GT i.e. van 1992, verry beautifull car! Ford Sierra 2.0, driftcar. Suzuki Alto, tempory car when i was looking for something better. And nowCRX 1.6 16V DOHC van '91. That was it. |

Hehehe, I still want to get a trabant some day
I was in east germany a couple of years ago where a guy had chopped his trabant, put some wide 13" rimms with thin tires on it, lowered it, and stripped it. Been here for ages but never really mentioned anything about me.
Always had a soft spot for quick cars...learnt to drive at the age of 10 on my grandads farm in both a reliant regal and mini estate van. When I passed my test I was a student so drove a round in a rusty old metro city X (its funny - that car was the same age as my hachi). First real performance car was a Renault 19 16V - just loved that revvy engine and I guess is partly why the 4A-GE motor is now one of my faves. After this I had a series of 3 heavily modified Impreza Turbos and seriously got bitten by the trackday bug. I've been doing trackdays for the last 8 years or so and have no intention of stopping. My last subaru was the 'special' P1 WR which was based on the JDM STI V Type R. I spent a small fortune on this car (as I did with all the subarus - if I hadn't owned them I would have had enough cash to buy a 2 year old 911 turbo LOL). Will massive Alcon brakes, 18" wheels, suspension and some HKS bits for the engine. She was a beaut. After a while I got totally bored with the 4wd beasts and not to mention shocked by just how much it was costing per trackday (worked it out at roughly £750 a time - not good when you do a lot). A good friend with an even more modified subaru was thinking the same thing so we decided to join our efforts an build a Westfield XTR2 powered by the Hayabusa motor. This was the first time either of us had embarked on building an entire car - it was great fun and we learnt a great deal as you can imagine. Our car was road legal - but lighter and quicker than the works race cars LOL. Since then we sold the XTR2 to make way for the XTR4 which is powered by the audi TT 20v Turbo engine - very reliable and low-maintenance so you can just concentrate on driving. (thats me waiting for the next victim to get strapped in) Really still enjoy the XTR4 - its just gobsmacking to drive and is much much quicker than any other car I've driven with low weight and high power/weight ratio. The downforce the car generates is amazing and even in our moddest hands is usually the quickest thing at the trackday. No driver aids other than the sole of your right foot. The hachi is a toy to hopefully improve my sliding and drifting abilities - its also something I can 'tamper' with and hopefully keep the car running and in good condition for a long long time to come. All praise the almighty hachi the car that trains the driver. Regards Ian. |

Well I've been driving since December 1993 and here is my list of cars I have had
Mk1 Ford Fiesta1.1 My first car, was modded with a K&N filter and some ICE MK1 Astra/Kadett SR 1.6 Had the full GTE kit, I fitted 16" Speedlines, lowered, big ICE system MK2 Astra/Kadett GTE 1.8 Modded it - engine to 140bhp, coilovers, super low, with 16" Dymag alloys Nissan Pulsar GTiR Came std, I spent mucho bucks, taking it to 320bhp, 1/4 in 12.89 secs Mitsi Evo 4 Imported from japan, big spec, 380bhp, 0-60 in 3.72 at Trax, and 12.5 1/4 AE86 supercharged My first hachi, already 4agze fitted, I fitted new suspension, exhaust, manifold, wheels, brakes, carbon bonnet TRD LSD Civic Type-R Was my work car, used daily, bog std Evo 7 Imported from Japan to use for a while and sell on MR2 MK1 When I sold the civic I needed another work car so bought the MR2 which I still have now. Skyline R32 GTS Wanted to get back into drifting, saw this R32 GTS in the auctions and bought it, but it was too nice to drift and didnt have the right setup. Sold it to a friend AE86 blue racecar Bought it, drove it round for a few weeks, took it to a drift day, then saw the black trueno and sold it !!
