You know you're a Toyota Fanatic when...

I know starting these threads are very cliche but it just occured to me how my family are Toyota fanatics

*My brother owns a nice T-Bar SW20 import

*My brother in-law owns a Celica GT Four

*My mum used to own a Toyota Previa and many years before that owned a Toyota Corolla (of which model she has yet to identify with me)

*My sister is called Cressida (possibly the strangest one I'm still urging her to buy one )

*I own the Hachi

Has anyone else noticed a Toyota trend amongst themselves?

Sorry, man, but I really hate Toyotas!

Of course I love the 86 and admire the old Celicas, last Supra and MR2's,

but since I can remember I hate Toyotas and especially Corollas!

That's not even a good name!

That feeling becomes more intense every time I drive a NEW Toyota,
like feelingless Corollas, heavy Versos, and Stability Control equiped Celicas and MR2s (the production of which, by the way, is canceled from 2006 in US and Europe!).

When I meet someone driving a Corolla in the freeway,
LEFT lane with 50 km/h, I say to my girlfriend:
"What do you expect from a man that drives a car named Corolla?"

And of course we laugh cause it was fate, for me, a Corolla-hater,
to drive a Corolla.

I'm VW born and bred, only got into 86's through drifting, but am starting to take a liking to a few other toyotas, such as the version 2 mr2, soarer. But theres nothing in toyotas showrooms at the moment that I think is a car worth buying.

If some one told me a year ago that I'd bought a 20 year old toyota corolla, for, by my standards an awful lot of money, I'd have asked them to see a doctor
