It is possible to put 4A-GE to Celica 2.0 from 90' ?
One guy is rebuilding his Celica and was asking me if it is possible to put 4A-GE blue top into his car. It is possible to do that

I have an engine for sale and the guy is interested in buying it and put it in cuz it is hard to find a replace for his celica

it is possible, the 4 gen celica (87-90) came with a 4age in it, 5 gen came with 3 sge or 4afe engine in ti, so if he has a celica st (4afe) engine he could put it in easy, but if he had a 3sge engine , he must change the gearbox and transaxle.
IMo best way for him it to buy 3sgte and put gearbox from mr2turbo  in it (yes, LSD baybe), if his engine is toasted

Can you tell me more if he must have the wirings ecu changed and the other things or can you tell me where i can get some information on this Rio_Cyber? Also the engine is missing the fuel rail and injectors + exhaust headers.
His car is no 2.0L engine as he write... it is 1.6L Sti. Yes and he has 4AFE in. 85' AE86 GT coupe lifetime project since 2005 |
