ae86 Trueno f20c Built to be driven not polished
Hi guys!
Finally got some time to add the ae86's story, that is still going, to the attention of this community First picture of the glorious ae86 somewhere on the way from Japan to UK few years ago Here it is, after one year in UK, finally mine P.S. petrol then was only 99p... So the work started to get some more horse powers into this 4AGE keeping it still self aspirated So with some head porting, new after market exhaust, HKS camshafts 4AGE reached mighty 130bhp |

Few track days followed....
.... followed by the collapse of glorious 4-AGE engine... So there was some hard thinking of a new 4-AGE or some other transplant instead. |

Finally was decided to keep ae86 just as it was created, naturally aspired screamer, however this time a bit louder and faster, powered by f20c
and finally with the dash light at the end of the tunnel |

The result was... well incredible Combination of the little ae86 and 2l Vtec engine revving 9000rpm is probably the best what ae86 driver may ask for. Well in my opinion of course
Any way, that is enough power and speed for Corolla ae86 to fly on the track drifting with a third gear, even to make some smoke! From the tyres of course |

To continue it as a project, the recent upgrade for ae86 was a proper roll cage with FIA certification. It became much more difficult to get into the car, but once you are there you don't want to get out as it feels like siting in the tank with loads of indestructible metal all around
But enough talking, here are the pictures for your judgement And painted in matt black: |
