More update. As Tein coilovers started leaking and brake calipers stopped working properly due to their age, had to do some upgrades. Considering ridiculous cost of ae86 aftermarket stuff went for a bit more affordable option, s13 front suspension setup.
After spending long and cold winter nights in the garage managed to get quite a nice result. Have to say that was quite easy and straight forward mod. S13 lower control arms, AW11 steering ends, s13 rod ends, s13 hubs, s14 brake calipers, 290mm s13 brake rotors, s13 coilovers, and most of that is pretty much bolt on swap. The benefit is super efficient brakes, extra lock and 5cm wider stance. Really like it |

Why have I only just seen this :S
Sweet build buddy did you chop and move the tunnel up for this or space the subframe out? I know the subframe space makes a fair difference to front GEO but might hold some benefit in lowering COG. How's the F20 lump been treating you? Running the S2000 ecu with the AE86 interior loom so all works as it should? |

Thanks!
f20c in my opinion was the best thing that happened to this ae86. Of course, I believe most ae86'ers are purists and accept only 4age. I was thinking the same, however, once you get to tuning 4age that gets a difficult job, that involves significant skill and investment as well. Tuned engine's reliability to be fair may not be great as well. So, that leads to a standart f20c which offers all performance ae86 would ever need with the benefit of superb reliability. The weight is pretty much the same as 4age as f20c has aluminium block. So answer is f20c is treating me extremely well Interior loom was working fine, however eventually replaced as because of the age ae86 loom was causing constant problems due to oxidation of connections, wires etc until eventually some wires simply started melting due to short circuit. |

An update.
Apparantly front arches appeared to be a bit tight for wider s13 suspension and wheels size 15x8 et0, so despite how much i like the natural looking arches, had no choice but to fit CBY fenders: Always thought the can not be too agressive, however I'm afraid now it may look a bit too agressive for a ae86. |
