It's looking awesome now bud! Suits it with the arches, though needs a little lower on the front How have you found the new lock? Is it bottoming out on the wheel tubs?

I wish I had seen how easy it was with the S13 front end swap before I spent a LOAD on T3 parts for the AE86!
I might look into the S2000 Master cylinder and booster though, otherwise I think it will just be an uprated Master cylinder as (at the moment), I'm only doing RX7 FD front brakes.

Thanks! Front tubs are extremely tight now, we are looking at millimeters, so sadly can not lower front end any more at the moment. Will have to find some solution for that as it really asks for some drop there.
That extra bit of lock is almost all what was needed, however for drift you can not have too much of that I would guess
Wider stance made huge difference in handling and the brakes are just too effective, it stops too quickly, you brake first, then you have to accelerate again to get to the corner and brake once again Still cann't get used to that.

Does it see primary use as a drift car? Tubbed arches next on the list or still limited by chassis leg/body seam? :/

Might be worthwhile looking at some different brake compounds or just more seat time and get used to the brake feel I guess

Direct bolt in?

What bore is the BMC?

Any chance you can take some pics with a tape thrown across? From turret out, from bulkhead forward?

I need a bigger setup and would rather change the servo too!

Hope those pictures will help you. That was pretty much straight forward swap.

Yes that was a direct bolt in, of course servo needed some force to put it in place as it is larger than standard one, however no need to drill any new holes etc.

Sorry can not tell BMC diameter, but it is standard Honda S2000 one, so you could find this info if really need it. Any way, that is more than enough to any size of brakes you will ever fit to ae86 as s2k guys fit ridiculous brakes with the standard BMC/servo.

Oh and BMC has to be from LHD car! As brake lines are on different side. Unless your ae86 if left hand drive, then you need right hand drive BMC.

It was primarily a drift car, however i'm starting to enjoy circuit and sprint more now, i guess it's a sign i may be getting older

About arches not sure yet, i still feel i might get away with some minor mods and a hammer to make wheels fit, we will see

Regarding brakes, I had stock front ae86 brakes for so long, that it is still very weird to see the car braking so well as you say, more track time and eventually should crack the new brakes
