ae86 not running right, injector?
I checked timing its fine. then I unplugged each fuel injector to make sure they were working and when I unplugged number 2 it didn't make a difference in how it ran, It idles at 1200 or 1300 and the motor shakes back and forth, every other injector that I unplugged clearly made a difference but number 2 might be bad, or could it be a spark plug... Ill go pull the spark plug out. Ill pull the cap of the dist. too.

The ae86 uses a o-ring type injector right? I hate barb type took me forever to replace the injectors on my 300zx, they are barb type.

what injectors can I use, I heard 7mge injectors are identical. I think 295cc but thats just what I read on another forum.

ok took out the spark plugs, the look find, I unplug the 2nd one, and start the car it runs the same, I unplug the 2nd fuel injector it runs the same...

And not there is water leaking from the passenger side of the motor, It looks to be coming out of the lower radiator line thing that is connected to the water pump(thermostat housing where that gasket is, hopefully its the gasket, I don't have much money for this car.).

I unplugged the 2nd spark plug wire with the car running and it arcs or sparks when I get it close to metal... Could the spark plug be bad and look good?

It has 220,000 miles, Im thinking its the injector...

After the engine has been running, pull the spark plug out of number
two cylinder. If there is no spark the plug will be wet with fuel. If there
is not fuel (dry plug), the injector is bad.

If there is fuel but no spark, pull out the plug and clean it thoroughly !!
Clean the tip of the electrode and the earthstrap with a thin file (points
file will do). Remove as much carbon from the insulator as possible.
Heat the tip with an oxidising gas flame to remove any oil or grease.
Now set the plug on the bench to cool.

While you are waiting for it to cool, take a new plug, fit it to the engine,
and start the car. If it runs nice and smooth on all four, throw the old
plug in the trash Tongue

Cheers... jondee86

Make sure that you have not broken the clips for your injectors.
