any AE86 for sale?

Hello everybody,
I am very happy to join this forum, I am writing from Italy.
Here we don't have even the shadow of an AE86. The best car I could find here was a Corolla AE92 and I still have it running great after 10 years and 220.000 km. I have been searching for a 3door AE86 in decent condition from a long time but no luck. If anybody has one for sale or knows where to find one please let me know, 3door is best but 2door is fine either. I can travel to see it and eventually buy it in no time.
It would be the 1st Levin in Italy...

Nice to see an italian member here. I got an email from a friend of mine who knows one of the portugees owners that has a couple of hatchbacks for sale. I am waiting for details on that, I also hope he takes the time to join this forum. Also the Danish people here may know some cars for sale but they will not like another hachi leaving their country

I dont know what the rules are in italy for importing cars but with the EU rules it shouldn't be to hard to get one into the country.

I'm half-Italian myself (from Atina, Frosinone), good to have you here fratello.

The AE86 is super rare in Italy, I know of only one and that's in Firenze.

I've been looking for an E30 BMW 320iS 2 door from Italy for ages so if you see one for sale, let me know!

Best place to look for an AE86 would be Holland or Belgium. I could find you one in the UK but it would be RHD...

There are very few hatchbacks in Holland so very little chance of finding one.

My bet would be Portugal. Denmark is also possible. France maybe. Other countries there are far to little LHD hatchbacks to be found. Coupes, now thats a different story, they seem to be turning up left and right

In Holland and Belgium the AE86 are mainly Coupe (2 door), and as far as we know only 4 hatchbacks are sold in Holland. The Dutch / Belgian AE86 are less expensive as in the UK and Danmark. I think you should contact Dreja: he bought his AE86 in Switzerland and lives near the Italian border.

Last one I missed was on mobile.de for 1800 euro and had less than 100.000km...rust free white 2door...somebody saw it? I talked with the guy on the phone about 10 times in one day and was ready to go and buy it, prepared all the papers, planning to leave at 2 in the morning from Milano to Frankfurt...the evening before I called the guy and he said he just sold the car to somebody else. I hung up the phone and closed into my room for 1 week...

I guess most of the people won't be happy to see an hachiroku leaving
their land but there must be somebody happy to see an hachiroku in Italy?
This car is so far from the italian collective imaginary that it is hard to believe. Even if italian people love cars and motors they don't know nothing about drifting, silvias, rx7s...and less about ae86. Even young car enthusiasts prefer to buy a new saxo or a 206 for crazy money insted of 1500 euro used 200sx...

By any chance the ae86 in Firenze is a white 2door rally car for sale at a sports car dealer? I think that is the only one present in Italy but it shouldn't be used for daily circulation and also he wants a lot of money...

About RHD...being in Italy I'd prefer LHD of course and also knowing prices in UK I think it woud be cheaper to import one from Japan! No? But who knows how to immatriculate a japanese car in Europe...

And what is the exact meaning of Pris: 10000...?

All AE86's sold in DK has LSD's.

10000 is Danish Kronor, look at http://www.xe.com/ucc for exchange rates!
