I bought my hachiroku 1 month ago, the body is in quite bad condition. At the moment is at body mechanic for restauration and repaint. The car was imported from Swizerland in year 91 (one of the previous owners imported it, not me). The car has covered 252 k km and the engine is still running good.

Now it is impossible to import any car to Slovenia, older than year '97, although we are in EU community. Well, you can import it, but you can not insurance and get number plates for such a car (so you can only use it for track, rally, and not for daily use).

Ah, that explains a lot. I was wondering if Slovenia didn't have the same rules as Hungary. I would love to give my Mitsu as a present to my girlfriends parents, they still own a trabant, which they can't use anymore on januari 1st due to emission regulations, but cars older than 6 years can't be imported into Hungary.

You'll find that alot nowadays, hatchbacks are in high demand, you really have to be quick to get them even then there is the chance of being outbid.

You either need to be lucky and find one for sale in some place nobody is looking, or fast
