I am going to replace the whole skin.

Redid the rear fender today. Managed to get it right this time Smile

hopefully it will Big Grin

Well I have the other side of the front strut tower left, spot weld the engine bay, swap roof skin, tap a hole in one of the roof pillars, front fenders (probably going to keep them old school steel widened), some kind of half cage. I am also thinking of equal length 4 link, but I'll think I'll leave that for later.
...and of course the shitty work, making the visual body panels straight.

Was thinking of doing Keiichi style plate between the firewall and main subframe, but I'm still giving it a thought.

Does it come at the side or at the top?

on the side.

I've already made one plate, but still thinking. 'cause I could just spot weld there...

Do the plates, don't just spot weld.

lochun Wrote:daytona, how much hachis you have??
you said that most hachis have lot of rust, but what about e7 rollas?? i saw that they are not so rusted as hachis. i was going to buy a 4 door sedan e7, but i have a finacial crisis, and i dont see it now on allegro.pl.

I have 6. All cars in Poland are generally stuffed from winter/salt. So there is no difference between an AE86 or a xE7x. If some one bought a CE70 corolla, and had it rust protected back in 83 or something, and kept it in their garage all week, and only drove it to church on sundays (like many old Poles do) then you would be able to get one in perfect conditionl. I have one that was garaged for many years, which has very little rust, it would have to be one of the best I have seen.
