guys anyone had experience with the roll cage that cusco offers for the ae86?

No, but why not just copying it, instead of buying. It would be much cheaper this way.

nope just a steel rollcage. If you go rollcage you have lightend the car as well. SO you just balance it back!

I've installed one. Cusco cages are made out of chromoly in case no one knows.
Things I didn't like: It's bolted in No harness bar No door bars Rear support bars attach wierd (for lack of a better word) The cage had a little bit of a tough time fitting around a LHD dash, RHD might be more easy Things I liked: It's cusco blue It's a cusco No welding required Overall I think I would prefer a tig welded cage catering to all my own specs. Just my opinion. |

I wouldnt risk my life on a roll cage that is bolted in, those japanese syle bolt in cages are utter crap in my opinion, they usually bend around the dash, are full of additional bends and put together with a scissor joint... crap crap...... save up your money and get a professionally welded in cage that uses proper matreials, correct radius bends, and that fits tight to the pillers as possible
