d3nso's little AE86 N2 build

After searching over 2 Years, now I got an decent 86.
With 170.000kms and a solid body the car is just great for me.
Bought it form an Member of this Forum (Waffenschmiede), picked it up and drove it right away home 700km with no problems.

The Car got an TRD diff, Sebring Exhaust, a BC Racing Suspension Kit and some other little stuff. The Engine ist pretty much stock, as well as the blue interior.





My plans with the car are:

- Clean up the Body and seal it
- Fixing the paint on some spots
- Fix the speedo (currently not working)
- Modding the interrior (Carbon panels, Brides Seats and stuff)
- Install a Rollcage
- Fixing the TRD diff (makes noises when cruising on low speeds)
- Rebuild the T50 or swap an 6-Speed IS200 Gearbox
- Engine Swap to Smallport and building a 180-200HP NA Beast



Today at a Local Meeting, of course I was th only 86 around between Opel Ascona B, Manta, Some Hondas and other, most german, cars :wink:

If possible with TUV and ok with your plans you can achieve the above in one step by fitting a Beams - most certainly will end up at the same price if not cheaper.

officially no, because we are only allowed to have 40% extra power

Beams are nice engines, but i focus to geht the car legal by using new racing regulations, which were adopted in October last Year. With this new regulations it should be possible to get the car road legal.
