And when all hope seems lost, here is a retainer ring for the counter-shaft.



The old one broke when taking it out, and they're discontinued!

My advice is: BE VERY CAREFUL TAKING THESE OUT, DONT BREAK OR DEFORM THEM, or else YOU ARE SCREWED!

Thanks! Got some new pictures of the progress, and a LOT of footage for videos, but still got to take care of the editing...

Everything is assembled for the main shaft, except the input shaft, which includes the 4th gear and the input shaft bearing:
