Yeah, you can try orion direct. You dont need 2nd car for old timer or young timer. Also cheaper for the basic package.

But with orion direct can be very difficult. Search on google

driver must be 24 years to get an oldtimer insurance...

You cannot have the weight of your car changed.
Your car is registered as an ae86, they just look up factory weight and thats it.
When you import a car it gets weighed because it is imported. No other way.

The reason why:
You have a car that weighs 1300 kilo's, you rip out the interior, change the doors for plastic ones atc. etc.
You have it weight, they change the weight of the car and then you go home and put the interior back and refit your metal doors etc.

For APK your cars weight is not an issue so the RDW can never check if your car still has the new weight. And so everybody can pay less roadtax and still drive their heavy car.

Just a few more months and you'll be paying for every kilometer you are driving and no roadtax anymore Smile
