There is a big fat weld underneath (inside the casting). I have never
tried to get one apart, and I imagine that it would be impossible without
destroying the end of the tube.

AS I expected , got no answer from HH-MS!
I'm now looking for steel coilover sleeves .
As i wanted to use my old coilover struts , I've order Springs from Passracing (Swift 7kg ID 65MM 11In lenght).
But , by checking the old strut , I 'v been disapointed : one of the axle is also bent . I can't use it.
I'd like to find steel coilover sleeves to weld on stock strut , as I'm using Tokico blue (48511-AE891) with stock lenght .
Any links welcome

I you have a bit of cash to spend contact Irishtwincam on here about these front coil-overs, very good & full length for rally use, fully adjustable damper & rebound,
