I tried to register a few weeks ago but never got the email through to confirm registration. So I'm sat there presumably with my preferred email and username taken but no way to log into the forums?

I believe your signup has to be accepted by an administrator.
I'm still waiting on mine to be accepted, not even sure I remember my password

Cool. I was beginning to wonder if it was an error and I'd got lost in the system, but obviously not.
Seems like the site is the nearest thing for me to immerse myself further into the world of 86's from NZ.
