headlight question
hi, i have an issue with my trueno headlamps.
they turn on and pop up all ok, but they wont stay in the up position with the lights off.

Is it possibly to make a d.i.y switch like for 'sleepy eye conversions' that i can use to keep the lights up and have them off?

Ive looked at the wiing diagrams but im not electricaly minded so im un-sure witch wires to use..?

Help please Thumbs up!

ok so ive been thinking more about this, and think that a toggle switch to kill the power to the headlamps in dipped mode would be the answer... Wave

The light switch should have a setting for raising the lights without turning them on. If that setting is unavailable on your switch your switch probably has been replaced by a Levin switch.

If it is available it will probably be either faulty or your popup-relay logic box is f#cked. (can't come up with the name)

there is an extra setting on the switch but when you set the switch to that point, the lights turn off and the lamps start to flap up and down out of sync...so its possible that something is fecked....

Do you think that a switch inline that would kill the power to the lights when activated and then keeping the lights in the open position and off at the flick of a switch...
