If you're thinking of importing an AE86 into the USA from Japan, it's worth looking into all the formalities first. I know that it's particularly difficult for Californians, due to the emissions rules. Another bonus point is that USDM cars are left hand drive. I'd recommend waiting till you get home and look to buy there. http://www.AE86imports.0catch.com |

yeah i have been. there are not any in my area. i have seen ONE though.. and it was in poor condition. had a big RALLY sticker on the side though. some old fat lady was driving it. kinda funny. but none on craigs list ever. i still check. some on ebay. and they want 5g for them. still right now i have my friends keeping an eye out for one. but if i could get a solid jdm ae86, that would just be awesome. i dont plan on usin it for my dd. im gettin a wrx for that. the rolla will be my full project car. deployment money well spent i think. lol. so if it is rhd, i have no problem with that! but i am still keeping my options open. if i find one in japan for a great deal and i have the funds, i will most likely buy it.
