how do i convert the digital dash?

i have a japanese toyota tureno.does anyone know how i convert the dash to display the speed in mph,rather than kph?
it is a digital dash.im having the rust on the car fixed now,will post some pics very soon!

You do know tureno was made up by some guy when they made initial D because they weren't alowed to use the trueno brand name right? Note the carpet in your picture

As for your question, no idea how to do this conversion but I know there are little gearing units that can be bought that you put on your speedo cables that are supposed to do this. They work with the analogue dashes, not sure if they work for digital dashes but I assume they should work...

but its just a simple programme to do it.it must read kph/mph to pass the road test here in northern ireland.

you'll need a digital fueltank sender (part# 83320-19725),
replace the analog oil pressure sensor with a oil pressure switch (one of a EP71,82,91/SW20/AE92/ST16x will do. Or any toyota without pressure gauge, only oil pressure light switch)

He's not going to convert the whole gauge from analogue to digital, just convert the reading on the speedometer from kph to mph.
You did a conversion as well, anything on how to change the readings?

That could be an tricky one, with it being digital & all, the key might lie with the celica-supra digi set-up

Fishlegs i might say something stupid but:

Why don't you try to find an analogue panel from a friend or so and place it just to pass the test and then put yours again in its place.

I don't know if the cables and plugs fit the analogue panel.
