Buyers advise
Hey guys,
Not sure if this should be in the technical thread or the buyers thread but with a number of forum people looking for cars I think its time to get a buyers guide formed. In this thread please start putting your advise down. When you'd go looking at a hachi that is for sale, what would you be looking at? In a few weeks I'll start compiling a list of things that have been discussed. In the end we should hopefully have a nice list that will help determine how good a hachi probably is. Keeps us away from overspending our money on a bad hachi. Greetz, Bastiaan "mux213" Olij Moved down under, no more hachi |

Buyers advise
OK, I'll start. If buying another I would check the following:
- Under rear seats for rust. - Along the seal at the bottom of the doors for rust. - All the way along the sills for rust. - Bushes and jacking points. - All panel lines to make sure they're straight. - Clutch cylinders for leaks. - Rear inner arches for rust. There's loads more stuff worth checking but here's a start. |
