RCA doubt
Hi folks, i have a doubt here about using or not the RCA.
In this moment i have konisport and apex springs (-4mm), but it seems me that the car didn`t lowered that much. The lower suspension arm is completely on horizontal position, that´s the right position? Do i need to put RCA 30mm or 40mm? Thanks. |

Read about the bump-steer fenomenon (use google). Then drive the car - if you notice it, use RCA's at least 30mm but no more that 40mm (if you lower the car 40mm).

dynamic geometry is a very important element of suspension and you shouldnt underestimate it :wink:

Hmm..I once uploaded a picture that showed how negative camber was created during compression. Its somewhere in my image map on the site, but I don't know how to repost that pic.
Basically, horizontal A-Arms are a no-no, you'll get the tiniest amount of positive camber gain during compression and negative during droop. Throw those rca's in there and things should be better. A wheel to steer the front of the car A pedal to steer the rear |
