nmwisima Wrote:Its funny and its orange, it's NA (miata chassis code) and noone know its for Subaru... Looks cool, but I don't like the rear wheels a lot... They look odd on a Miata. Perhaps with a little more dish they would be better. The brake lights together with the new middle part (yeap, the one that used to carry the license plate) are n1! After improving my BSP low pros, I still wasnt satisfied with my 5s lighting.
So I had a cunning plan... Bought an extra set of indicator lights from Daz -thanks mate- and first day they were here I broke one. I wasnt exactly sure of what I was going to do, but the main idea was to install some kind of lighting unit inside them, so I dont change the oem (sort of speaking) look of the car. Put the light in the oven, but together with the glue the plastic crystal was also bended. I used the destroyed part as a prototype. The clear plastic tends to break at the edges even if you do it perfectly. So you deffo need one of these heat and remove carefully I was planning to instal some kind of fog lights to the main housing and the change the position of indicators and repeaters. Turned out that was not necessary. Grabed some chinese for lights, smallest I could find. Bended one of the fog light bracket to fit the curve of the housing then open a hole to the housing to bolt the light in order to prevent the light from moving and also have some sort of "adjustment" I added one more bolt And thats how the lights sit Some back silicone for more security and putting back the lense keep it together and Voila! Indicator lights stayed where they are, repeater also as they are visible behind the fog light. Just cahnged the bulbs with orange ones. Nothing can be seen from the outside of the car And thats the light they re making Just the new lights together with driving lights Also fitted that trunk release thing. Finally... danielvanderwoude Wrote:looks like the nmwisima joke saved you in the endhttp://www.jdmbits.com |
