I'm affraid not. You need a really sturdy triangulated structure to take the load of a car flying through the air. This stylebar will probably rip right through the sheetmetal its attached to.. Sorry.

my friend survived a roll-over crash with only minor bruises and a light concaution.. but he didnt have any rollbars what so ever in his miata. he said that the hard-plastic seats saved his head.. so i guess this rollbar must at least do better than that?

On a more serious note...With a rollbar is not necessarily safer then without. If it does come loose, thats an 15kg piece of steel flying around your coconut.
