Now i can finally swap the Hachi struts, i started to rebuild the front struts.
I need some part numbers, but my EPC doesn't want to cooperate, so if any of you can give me the following numbers, i'd be very glad  Front discs Front pads calliper rebuild kit brake piston (if not included in some kind off rebuild kit) i once earlier asked about the rebuild kit, and this should be this number, right? I can't help you with the Toyota numbers but i am going to by my rotors, pads and brake rebuildkit by Max Miswa.
He has a topic http://www.aeu86.org/viewtopic.php?t=3323 The rotors are 25 dollar per piece, the front caliber rebuild kit is 20 dollar, and he has several brakepads. I do not know what the original Toyotaparts cost here in Holland, but i know this is cheaper!! |

I remember they had pretty decent prices and fast shipping aswell. They do sell just normal brake pads, good stuff for road use, but worthless for serious track use. But the rotors I'm very happy with, as good as OEM I'd say. Greetz, Bastiaan "mux213" Olij Moved down under, no more hachi

Ordered the parts! While i was strippng down the struts, i found out that the backplates (the ones that keeps stones/dust/other shit away from the disc) are pretty FUBAR, so i need those things aswell, anyone can get me the part numbers of those things? some question.
I am going to change my brakepad. My question is, do I need new Pad support plate, anti-ratle spring, pad guide plate and anti- squeal shim? Mine look very rust... I wonder if they still can be used 1985 AE86 (ハチロク) Levin - Summer time daily driver |
