ride height
whats the ideal ride height for a road AE86? I see people with a shock/spring setup with a 40m drop, TRD's setup is 20mm, others have 25 front, 40 rear. Whats the best for a road, non-drift car? Say if you had adjustable coilovers? I know you'd probably play around with it until you were happy.

Well it's a matter of spring rates and road conditions I guess. I personally think that 25 to 30mm is adequate to get some better looks (which is in the end the number one reason for lowering). The lower you go, the more spring rate your going to need to keep things from scrubbing when you take a corner. I know this is all a bit fuzzy talking, but I would personally go for 25mm lowering with 6kg front and 4kg/mm rear springs. On smaller wheels you might consider going a bit lower, but I run 15's so I need some more clearance.
