Levin kouki - zenki sidelights ?

Beside orange/black differences, are they the same ?
Are they interchangable, can be put on every AE86 Levin, regardless of model of sidelights ?

I need to buy both headlights, and thinking of going to kouki front with glass grill.
But, both of mine sidelights are in great condition so don't wanna buy other .

you can put

zenki with blinker
zenki without blinker
kouki with blinker are all interchangeable

Btw. glass grill is somewhat cheaper than plastic zenki ?!
It doesn't make sense, but i certanly won't compalin

The mounting holes on the fenders are not the same for zenki & kouki though (easiliy fixed), and the lines will be "off" when mixing and matching zenki & kouki headlights and corners. This is because the kouki's have those little lids on the headlights, the corners have a thicker black line on top and bottom too because of this ( so the lines continue into the corner lights).

I'm leaving zenki corners and sidelights, just wanna put kouki headlights and grill.
As much as you told me, there aren't going to be any problems.

No, there arent going to be any problems, it will just look a little odd at the corner lights. I've done the exact same thing to my own hachi, didnt want to fork out money for new kouki corners, and couldnt find used ones.

Why ?

Just to be sure :

My car is zenki.
I have zenki sidelights (position/parking lights).
Corner lights are not important, on my car they are far towards the door,
My wings are genuine zenki.

I want to buy kouki headlights and grill.
Only fitment problem i can see that can happend is sidelights<->headlights and hood<->headlights/grill.

It will fit just fine, no fitment problems as long as you keep in mind that you need to keep the grille and headlights of the same type since the grill mounts are different. But the sidelights will not match with the headlight trim. Personally I thought mine would look better with kouki sidelights.

Are you aiming at not so good fit between headlight and sidelights ?

Look at the differences in the tops of the corner lights.. the kouki ones have a much thicker black line there. The zenki corners have a thin line that does not even go all the way to the headlight. Maybe I'm a bit too fussy, but it's just a cosmetical detail. Anyway, enough about that, best of luck with the project.
