Dont go thinking I'm rich either.. In the end toyota is still ripping us off over here since greece has the same fuckin currency..so if they can sell this stuff over there for 72 euro's, they should not sell for 120 euro's over here.

1st of all, thats the price i got form the phone. Lets all wait till I actually pay for the stuff... Its Greece here.

Also we might have the same currency, but NO we dont have the same income... Basic Sallary here is 600 euros

In Poland basic salary is 260 euros a month... try living and doing ANYTHING on your car with that... or even try buying a few litres of fuel for nearly 1 euro a litre... ;-)

Tomorrow I will go to Toyota and ask about the prices... if its a lot cheeper, I can buy it for you guys here... I have a friend who goes to Holland/Germany every week...

Sorry guys, here wages are lower twice (130-150EU). This doesn't mean that all people live with 150EU/month (gray/black economy etc.) but you can get the picture. Also this is not reason to give-up, ok ?

Salary is not important, unless you are a manager at a multinational. What matters is
a. Mechanical/electrical knowledge, tools and space to save on labour costs
b. Sponsors
If you got none of the above, the sooner you realize it's going to be a loooong trip to your dream car, the better.

147 euros at local Toyota Dealer...for those parts numbers in the right quantities...

if its half as cheap in greece, these mofo's must be trippin...I'm a member of a Corolla Club here in Poland, and I think there might be a toyota dealer that gives us 10% or so... might have to ask them.

Again, I have to say:
Here is Greece, you never know till things are done.

I contacted the Toyota Hellas Chief P.R whom I know from 3-4 toyota new car trips i ve gone, and gave me the phone number of Chief on part store.
Gave him the part numbers and replied "yes, they are available. Prices are..."

Still, I might go to the dealer and find another price there.

But then I 'll contact Headquorters again and "nail" them
