The bonnet was white too, I've seen more pics of that car.. I tried it out in Tokyo Highway Battle 2 (shuto trials spinoff game on my dreamcast), it actually looks kinda cool, a touch of pimp for the ae86...

I thought it looked cool too. A kind of drift look avant la lettre.

A wheel to steer the front of the car
A pedal to steer the rear

The red/white one became mine later on. The former owner, Frank, repainted the entire car and I guess these pics were taken during that process Smile

Why motorsports? Because other sports require only one ball!

That is correct Jesse !
The white paint is not paint at all, it was the ground layer Wink

I know Frank very well, good buddy of mine.
Driftspin is a good buddy too, small world Big Grin

The picture is a real fake one, trust me on that.
I know from Bert, he told me.

And yes he drove with carbs and very high spec cams.
Rebuilded the entire engine himself, ported en literd (spelling probably not coorect)

I have some movies of him Big Grin
I shall look for them !

PetzK Wrote:The car in Jeroen's post (2 posts up^^) belonged to a guy from NL, Bert aka Driftspin, he was running carbs and 290° cams on that car, but when I last had contact with him about 2 or 3 years ago, the car was for sale.....

Later,
Patrick

To complete the story !

Yes the car was sold to DBM's Maarten and Rian.
They stripped the car for there fury (kitcar).
I bought the remainings of that car...

Some movies Big Grin

As you all can see this is all about 2 ae86's.
The white one is from Bert as mentioned above, the other one is from the former owner of Jesse's car.
