stand alone ECU but i want to keep my rev clock
Hi All.
I'm putting ITB's on my AE86 with a stand alone ECU but i want to keep my rev clock Sad So can someone please tell me what wire is used to Transmit the signal back to the clock. Is it one of the wires going to the dissy or what . Thanks all Thumbs up!

Drive it like your late for mass and god is your passenger / don’t just bend the rules rule the bends fun ant in a straights!!

without knowing, but using common sense.
The signal should originale off your coil.

Kp62 - 135hp
Ae86 - 135hp
C32 Laurel - 440hp
C32 Laurel - 125hp

Check the documentation for your ECU. On the one I am using, you can
configure one of the unused ignition outputs as a tacho output.

Ordinarily your tach signal should be coming from the negative terminal on your ignition coil. If your sticking with original ignition you should be fine as long as you dont remove the wire.

As Jondee said, most aftermarket ECU's can output a tach signal as well..

thanks lads ye the ECU wire isn,t the problem but what wire do i tag it to Banging head

im using a standalone ecu, you will have to use your standard ecu 2 so that you will be able to use your rev clock,

wont affect you at all

Think about it for a while... if your not changing ignition parts, and the tach wire of the original is coming from the negative coil terminal, then you dont need to change a thing!
You dont need you standard ecu because it is not supplying the tach signal.
