I have this one from LevinGT:

First loosen the nut. Not entirly, just a bit. Grab your steeringwheel with both hands. press a bit with your right hand on the steeringwheel, while pulling your left hand hard in your direction. It worked for me.

Mine fell off almost immediately last week, while two weeks ago it wouldn't budge. Only difference is that I didn't tighten the bolt too much: I just screwed it on again with my fingers, drove the car for a week and presto: it is loose! Tongue

force never did anything for me.. what i think happens is that the pinion onto which the wheel is attached is a very tight fit, any pulling in the slightly wrong direction generates to much friction so its hard to pull off. only pulling it straight up 90 degrees will resoult in effortles removal. this was always the key for me..

It's not the force that counts, it's the shock of the impact. The steering wheel has conical splines, meaning that the tighter you tighten the nut, the harder it will jam itself stuck. Bit the same like the steering knuckles.. you either need to 'shock' them apart, and if that fails, a puller is necessary.

Just need to take off the bolt and give a strong punch in the steering wheel

Always on top always on sideways
